Volunteer Opportunities

  • AR Picnic - Every May, both campuses have their own picnics rewarding accelerated reader milestones. The Elementary 4-6 Campus has field day at the same time.
  • Field Day - This event is separate from the AR Picnic at Elementary K-3 Campus. Supervision of children is required.
  • Tailgate Party - Fall, Football & Fun! A social event with pizza, drinks and activities before an ACES football game. A little work - a lot of fun!
  • Fall Festival - Includes a chili supper, games and lots of family fun! We need quite a bit of help to make this a great event!
  • Auction - Play a small or large role in staging this huge money maker! Lots of fun and fellowship!
  • Recycling Team - We collect ink/toner cartridges, Boxtops for Education, Campbell Soup labels; and help the secretaries count, sort, and ship the items.
  • Cafeteria Help - A great way to visit and watch your child interact with their peers. Two parents per day, per campus are needed to assist children and clean tables.
  • Grandparents Day - Early spring at the Elementary K-3 Campus and later at the Elementary 4-6 Campus. Treat the grandparents to Mass, a snack, and special-time with their grandchildren.
  • Homeroom Parent - Help teachers with needed tasks, organize holiday parties and Auction Classroom basket.
  • World's Finest Chocolate Sale - Although the World's Finest Chocolate sale is not a PTO event, we help the OCS system count money and tally sales.
  • Teacher Appreciation - Help put on a catered luncheon for our teachers during Catholic Schools Week. Clean up, serving, and setup help needed.
  • Elementary K-3 CAmpus Workdays - Help teachers at the Elementary K-3 Campus with copying, collating, and other necessary jobs!
  • Used Uniform Sale - Held at registration and in the spring. This is a wonderful service to our families!

The PTO hosts several activities and events to benefit our students. Get involved and attended a PTO general meeting to learn about all the activities the PTO sponsors! The purpose of our PTO is to promote goodwill, communication, and cooperation among parents/ guardians, teachers, administration and parishes. We aim to provide support to our schools through socials, fundraisers and specific activities. We are a non-commercial and non-partisan organization seeking to increase awareness of issues affecting Catholic education. We do not charge dues, but rather encourage the active participation of all our members. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please email Chrissy Kurtz at cmkurtz06@gmail.com.
